Originally founded in the 70's, Schluter has added many versatile options to it's line that allows for a functional shower without the worry of leaks down the road.
Unlike traditional waterproofing, Schluter® is bonded to the substrate and allows for the direct application of tile using the thin-set method. This prevents moisture from infiltrating the mortar setting bed, thus reducing the risk of leakage, efflorescence, and mold growth in wet areas.
There are so many options to choose from for the functionality of your shower, down to the details of your design. With options like metal trims to make your tile stand out, to fully customizable Kerdi board, no project is ordinary. There are many drain colors and patterns to choose from to allow your shower to take on whatever design path you'd like!
When installed with the Schluter thin-set mortars, your installation may be eligible for lifetime warranty coverage! Our products are designed to work together, and are warrantied together when they are installed as a system. A full resolution warranty covers you on the full cost of your project: including both materials and labor. Many other warranties only cover the cost of product replacement, leaving you on the hook for the tile, setting material, and labor costs.
