Policies and Procedures

Please allow adequate time for materials to be received and properly stored. While backorders are not as common, they can still occur. For a typical home project, planning for 3-4 weeks is essential to ensure that all loading materials are received in full, correctly, and undamaged. Although it is possible, we cannot guarantee that all materials needed for the project will arrive within this timeframe. Please keep our returns policy in mind and plan ahead.

We do not accept returns on materials unless the received loading materials are defective and qualify under a warranty claim. Currently, most manufacturers consider products as custom orders, which means they will not accept any returns into their inventory. To avoid any issues, we recommend double-checking your quantities and ordering timeframes before placing orders to ensure you are requesting the correct amounts of materials. There are very few exceptions to this returns policy, and any such cases would need to be approved by us and may incur a restocking or return fee.

In approved circumstances where the customer needs to pick up directly from the manufacturer, all materials must be checked for damages prior to leaving the warehouse. This includes a thorough inspection of the loading materials to ensure they are in good condition. If there are broken materials, please contact us before you leave. We will arrange for the vendor to inspect the materials, which is essential for our returns policy, allowing a claim to be processed. Once materials leave the manufacturer, they become your sole responsibility. Crossroads Flooring & Design is not liable for any damages that occur in transit. Additionally, any damages that are not reported before leaving the facility are considered broken in transit, which might affect your ordering timeframes.

We understand that home building is a process, so as a courtesy to our customers, we offer free material storage for 30 days after loading materials into our warehouse. However, we do not have the capacity for long-term storage. Once we receive materials in full, the customer will have 30 days to pick them up. After this time frame, Crossroads Flooring & Design will not be liable for any damages that may occur. Should the ordering timeframes extend beyond 45 days, a storage fee of $10 per day may apply to any complete order that remains in our warehouse. Any applicable storage fees must be paid in full before materials will be released. Please note that exceptions to this returns policy will apply pending approval by Crossroads Flooring & Design.
